Valentine’s Day Drabble

Clocking this in at 8:40PM on Valentine’s Day my time. Clearly getting it in barely under the wire. I did write/edit this in about an hour after my work shift. But a happy soft and fuzzy feelings day to all. And be sure to hit up your local big box store for discounted candy tomorrow.

The only warnings are pointless fluff after the page break!

Sanguimancy

The other day I went back to an old (now deleted) Blog and saved some writing, most of it from 2019 or WAY before. Two out of every three pieces I don’t love as much now. This one wasn’t so bad though. It’s nice, sometimes, to look and see what you’ve changed and what you’ve kept over time.

October Flash Fiction Challenge

I’ve always admired visual artists who participate in things like Inktober, where you’re creating a brand new work Every day for a month. I’m the sort of person who tends to spend way too much time on each and every thing I create instead of just stepping back to make something and just enjoy the making it. In preparation for participating in NaNoWriMo for the first time in awhile, I figured I would attempt a prompt list to get back in to the swing of more regular writing.

The list I got is from @elby.draws on Instagram who makes very, very, cute art and you should 100% check them out. Because DANG are they talented. I’ll probably end up sharing at least a few of them that I like as stand alone pieces. And who knows, maybe I’ll put them together in a little collection as an e-book if people are interested.

The list I’ll be using is from the post here if you want to follow along. They’re calling it #Witchtober and it is very cool. But let’s be honest, I’m not going to be able to just write about witches for a month. List is also after the page break!
